I am Sitaram Vaman Ranpise, living with six family members, my wife, brother, two children, and a daughter-in-law, in Ambedkar Nagar, Pune. I never went to school, and my family works as a garbage collector for survival. For people like us, the expense of cataract surgery is really a luxury. I never visited any hospital to get my eyes checked even when I had a problem with my vision. Someone told me that CybageAsha in association with H.V. Desai hospital was going to organize a free Eye-camp in our community. I went to the camp, and the doctor after checkup advised me for cataract surgery. I was really moved by the gesture that CybageAsha would take care of all the expenses of my operation at H.V. Desai hospital. The CybageAsha representatives were helpful and comforting and they even counseled me not to worry before the operation. In today’s world, it is difficult to find someone who will help you blindly without expecting anything in return and CybageAsha is one such live example. I just want to say 'Thank You' to CybageAsha for the support provided pre and post-surgery. The comfort and hospitality given by them were appreciable.

Vimal Uttam Gaikwad, a resident of Sanjay Park, Pune lives with her family of nine members. To support her family, she works as a maid, and her husband works as a watchman. It is difficult to run a joint family of nine on a meagre income. They can hardly manage their daily expenses, or expenses to educate their grandchildren. Her family couldn’t afford an expensive cataract surgery. “Seven months ago, a visit to the hospital showed I needed cataract surgery. The question that arose in my mind was how would I pay for this surgery. This new expense would collapse all the monthly expenses. I was worried, but we decided to do it when we have some spare money, but that day would never come. In August 2018, CybageAsha organized a free eye checkup camp at Sanjay Park. I went there and during the checkup process, the doctor selected those who needed operation on an immediate basis. I got selected and CybageAsha aided me for my cataract surgery. Even the transport facility to the hospital was free. I am now completely fine and can see everything clearly. I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to CybageAsha for their help.”
