Headmaster ZP School
CybageAsha has created a ray of hope, working in their special way to spread smiles and make a difference to the society. I, Anil Chachar, Headmaster of Zila Parishad Primary School, Hanumanvasti, Velhe, was trying to build a compound wall for the school since 2011. As per the RTE rule, we have all the other facilities except the compound wall. CybageAsha helped us construct the compound wall and now the school premises look beautiful and environment-friendly. The school has a total of 34 students, out of which 26 students hail from tribal communities. CybageAsha dreams to walk the unknown in terms of the skills to help, teach, and educate for a better future. We aim to continue working with CybageAsha for the education of underprivileged students.
Mavadi is a small village in Purandar taluka with a population of 1,500. CybageAsha carried out the first desilting work in Mavadi in a very economical way. It also helped 38 families in the village to construct toilets. CybageAsha also helped the villagers the construction of a community hall, and organization of health camps and tree plantation drives. Cybage has also provided scholarships to deserving students of the village. Because of CybageAsha’s immense contribution, Mavadi received the ‘Ideal Village’ award from the renowned social worker, Dr. Prakash Amte. CybageAsha has made the overall development of the village possible in very easy and practical ways. It is a ray of hope for Mavadi. It is not wrong to say that the village has been transformed by CybageAsha. I salute the work of CybageAsha.
Upsarpanch Mavadi KP
CybageAsha always has a long-lasting impact on backward regions and it’s looked up to by every village for development purposes. I, Chandrakant Dnyanoba Bhame, Upsarpanch of Mavadi Kade Pathar, can proudly declare that CybageAsha has done great work teamed with proper planning in my village!Within a span of just two years, CybageAsha has completely transformed the underground drainage line, built a health camp to improve the health of villagers, and a school wall compound to improve the school infrastructure. Desilting of streams and rivers has been done to tackle drought issues and individual toilets have also been constructed. CybageAsha is not just a charitable trust, but a thought that offers a ray of hope for the villagers. Thank you CybageAsha!
I was an alcoholic for 15 years before my life took a turn for the better in 2009. That was when CybageAsha started its de-addiction center in my community, Khulewadi. I started visiting their weekly OPD every Sunday and within a year, I had quit alcohol completely. This was not easy; but with the help of counselling sessions, CybageAsha then felicitated me in front of my community, in which I was known only as a drunkard who beats up his wife and children. The week after that, I was appointed as ‘community coordinator’ to help other alcoholics break the vicious cycle of addiction. In the last five years, I have helped reform about 25 addicts. Now, I’m earning a decent living and supporting my family. My transformation was possible only because of CybageAsha.I thank CybageAsha for making me the agent of change.
Dr. Ajay Dudhane
Founder and Chairman Anandvan De-addiction Center
Since its inception on August 15, 2009, Anandvan De-addiction Center has been working tirelessly for victims of drug abuse. Our association with CybageAsha goes back to more than a year. With their support, we conducted two 10-day residential de-addiction camps for addicts from low income groups—one each in April 2016 and August 2016 respectively. Twenty-five addicts benefited from these free camps. CybageAsha also helped us financially by providing Diwali donation for the year 2015-16. With their help, we have started family counselling and addict counseling meetings at Ambedkar Nagar on Nagar Road. We are grateful to CybageAsha and its volunteers for their unrelenting support through donations, pamphlet distribution, and street plays. Together, we hope to reach out to more needy people and rescue families from the clutches of addiction.

I thank Cybage Asha for their focus on the rural upliftment. After nominating my village (Dinnapur – Marathwada region) under village adoption initiative, Cybage Asha immediately visited my village and initiated the river deepening project. This project helped in eradicating the drought like situation in my village. Such projects impact the lives of many. Cybage Asha’s dedicated CSR team connects with the villagers with their onsite visits and also virtually with the growing age of smart phones. Apart from this I am conducting the art club in iTeach schools (funded by Cybage Asha). I like the way the CSR team plan these activities and help the volunteers in conducting these clubs successfully. They encourage the volunteers by felicitating them from time to time.

“Being part of a middle class family, there were many financial challenges in my life but CybageKhushboo came as a miracle and I am now proud to be a part of the Cybage family. I remember the time when I was sitting on other side of the chair as a CybageKhushboo student and now as a Cybage CSR volunteer I am getting opportunities to give back. I feel fortunate to have been a volunteer at Cybage Asha for past 6 years as it has given me various opportunities to carry out my responsibility towards society. I have enjoyed working as a teacher, guide, instructor, Santa and so on. The activity at Anandvan Vyasanmukti Kendra was a different, memorable and challenging one. Initially, I was scared to take the drug addict from Ambedkar community at center due to his behavior. Nevertheless, my colleague assisted me and finally he was admitted to center for 8 days. I can see the happiness among his family for the efforts we have put to transform his life from drug-DE addict to normal life

Sumanbai, 52, is a Sanjay Park slum resident and belongs to an economically challenged background. Her son remained uneducated due to financial situations and after the death of her husband, they had to sustain on the meager salary of her son. Stating her situation, she said, “I am a cataract patient; it is quite difficult to take any medical treatment in such a poor financial condition. My husband was sick, and the doctor advised him for bedrest; we tried to save his life, but we were unable to do so. In such a condition, I felt helpless because I am suffering from cataract. I couldn’t manage even the daily household works, and I could not afford the expenses of cataract surgery. A few months back some people from CybageAsha came to Sanjay Park and did a survey and gave assurance that they will help me, and they did so! I got my surgery done and I was provided good medical treatment. I can now see clearly, and I am able to carry on with the normal daily duties.” “I thank CybageAsha for providing medical help for cataract surgery free of cost. Right through the surgery, they took care. Even now they visit to see my progress. CybageAsha believes in commitment because many people came before CybageAsha. While the rest just assured that they will help us but CybageAsha really took care. I would like to thank CybageAsha from the bottom of my heart.”

“Cochlea Pune is overwhelmed by CybageAsha’s support for its rural initiatives. The support has enabled us to add Manchar village of Ambegaon taluka under our umbrella. CybageAsha has also helped us with a school van, hearing aids, and school uniforms for children. This gesture has provided children from rural areas such as Khed taluka and Dapoli access to formal education. We look forward to their continual support in the long run.”
Vimal Uttam Gaikwad
Sanjay Park resident Beneficiary
Vimal Uttam Gaikwad, a resident of Sanjay Park, Pune lives with her family of nine members. To support her family, she works as a maid near Sanjay Park, and her husband is a watchman. Only five members of the family earn, and it is difficult to run a joint family of nine on a meagre income. They can hardly manage their daily expenses, or educational expenses to educate her grandchildren. In such a condition, her family couldn’t afford expensive cataract surgery. “Seven months back, a visit to the hospital showed I needed cataract surgery. A question raised in my mind how I will pay for this surgery, this new expense might collapse all the monthly expenses. I was worried, but we decided that we will do it when we have some spare money, but that day would never come. In August 2018, CybageAsha organized an eye checkup camp at Sanjay Park with a free checkup. I went there and during the checkup process, the doctor selected those who needed operation on an immediate basis. I got selected and CybageAsha aided me for my cataract surgery. Even the transport facility to the hospital was free. I am now completely fine and can see everything clear. I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to CybageAsha for their help.”
Udachiwadi villagers Adopted Village
We are proud to announce that Udachiwadi village, Purandar taluka, has received the first prize in Maharashtra for the ‘Satyamev Jayate Water Cup Contest 2019’. Needless to say, the credit for this goes to all of us. The prize consists of a water cup, a certificate, and Rs. 10 lakhs in cash. This award from the Paani Foundation is the third instance when Udachiwadi water conservation efforts have been acknowledged. The first time we won an award was when CybageAsha constructed a watershed in our village. The second and most valuable prize was when CybageAsha decided to adopt our village permanently. Today all of Maharashtra is indebted to the Paani Foundation. Without its water conservation initiatives, thousands of villages would have remained dry even after the rains. Without the help from CybageAsha, it would have been difficult to construct the CCTs, check dams, and farm ponds. We thank CybageAsha for its support and assistance. Udachiwadi will remain grateful to you. Even though this year's competition is over, we will keep working for the betterment of our village. We expect the same love and cooperation from CybageAsha in the future. - All the Udachiwadi villagers!
I, Shri Prakash Mohanrao Vadane Paatil, belong to Bhatkudgaon village situated in Ahmednagar district, Shevgaon taluka, where CybageAsha has helped construct a hygienic drainage system. My fellow villagers and I came to know about CybageAsha when my younger brother, Sanjay Vadane, joined Cybage Software Pvt. Ltd. in Pune.My brother had praised CybageAsha a lot and explained how it works for the welfare of various villages and aids their sustainable development. When the CybageAsha team came to our village to set up the drainage system, I realized how right he was. All the members of CybageAsha, especially, CSR executives were very kind, helpful, and transparent in their CSR activities. My fellow villagers and I are extremely thankful to CybageAsha for their benefaction.
