CybageAsha conducted a rehabilitation drive on Monday, June 21, 2021, where we distributed asbestos cement sheets to 70 Cyclone affected families in Bhorgiri village which are located near Bhimashankar.

The deadly cyclone, Tauktae, inflicted damage to over 95 homes, school buildings, and the Grampanchayat office in Bhorgiri and Bhivegaon villages in Khed taluka of Pune district on May 16, 2021. This calamity caused a lot of havoc, thus we conducted this decision to make the living conditions of the residents considerably better than before. The team visited the affected families on May 20, 2021, and decided to help these affected families.

The Sarpanch, Upsarpanch, Gramsevak, and members of the Grampanchayat were also present at this rehabilitation drive which increased the weightage of the event.

 CybageAsha has also been working in the villages in Khed Taluka since October 2020. We have conducted several projects like skill development, empowerment of women, infrastructure development to bring up the residents and the infrastructure of these villages

We hope this small contribution from CybageAsha makes the livelihood of the villagers a little better and we hope to help them more with such projects in the near future.
