Cleanliness is, indeed, next to godliness. CybageAsha always takes initiative in rural upliftment programs and provides infrastructural support to its adopted communities. CybageAsha, in association with the villagers, conducted a cleanliness drive at Moroshi village. The Trust recently adopted this village which is situated in Khed Taluka of Pune district.
Nine volunteers along with their family members attended the drive. The CybageAsha executives interacted with all the administrative authorities of the village including Jayashree Nangare, Sarpanch, and Umesh Khairnar, Gram Sevak. Cybage CSR team and volunteers conducted a socio-economic survey of all the residents before conducting the drive.
Villagers also participated enthusiastically and cleaned the entire village including the school, the Gram Panchayat office, and temple. The volunteers collected waste plastic thrown around and pulled out the weeds for this clean-up activity. As expected, the end result was fruitful. The village looked clean and beautiful. After the successful completion of the drive, a meeting was held wherein volunteers and the villages shared their experience about the cleanliness drive and also provided feedback. They thanked all the volunteers.
